Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to foster nuclear innovation and maximize Canada’s contribution to clean tech infrastructure. Canada has long been a leader in nuclear innovation, providing clean power solutions and many other benefits to humanity. We are determined to continue playing a principal role in sustainable development both domestically and internationally. As energy demand rises, so does the potential for GHG emissions. The world needs low-carbon solutions to ensure the health and well-being of all its citizens.

These solutions include advanced reactors that recycle spent fuel, Small Modular Reactors to replace fossil fuel generation, and continued investment in next generation reactor technology. Another important element is the dissemination of factual information that will lead to increased public acceptance of – and appreciation for – nuclear technology that is aligned with social values so that we can get these projects off the ground!
This isn’t mission easy, but it’s mission possible.
